In this class, your learner will be introduced to new ways of finding their voices.  We will use open ended statements, games, role play and strategies to use so they lose the fear of putting our thoughts onto paper.  By first breaking down "why" the words are hard to find, is it perfectionism, language rules, unwilling to share your ideas or lack of ideas that are stopping you? There are many reasons why we cannot find our voice, let's find many solutions together and go from stuck to story building! 

With each ongoing class, we will learn new ways to move beyond the “I’m stuck” phase of writing. This is not a high pressure, demanding class. Students will engage with not only me, but other students who have enrolled as well.  We will discuss all aspects of the course together in chat as well as upload and share our homework assignments to gain different perspectives.  Students and parents can email me at any time if they have questions. I will be adding in several fun games to help the students choose topics and build upon their papers.  It is a great way to encourage those students who find it hard to pin down a topic of interest and it assists in having a timeline for learners to share with others.  Students will be evaluating and learning from each other's assignments as well as watching the videos using canva.  No account registration is required.

The videos are shorter than a live class. Your child is welcome to pause, rewatch and take notes. Since this is not a live class with interaction, all of the information can be presented in a shorter time frame. Thus making it more informative and easier for students to sit through.
