Hello, and thank you for your interest in Harry Potter Book Study #1: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone self-paced class! My name is Kristi Robertson and I will lead learners into the wizarding world of Harry Potter in this 8-week or on-demand asynchronous class as we read and discuss Book #1 of author JK Rowling's series, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone! 

Anyone can take this class whether you're new to the world of Harry Potter or if you're a long-time fan! There is no prerequisite knowledge required. Learners are required to have their own copy (hardcopy or digital copy) of the book, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by JK Rowling. We will read two chapters per week and have lots of fun discussion around each chapter. Please note that since this is a self-paced class, there will not be any live and scheduled Zoom meetings. Learners will access this class on their own time. 

Learners will interact with me through the Classroom discussion thread by answering discussion questions each week about the chapters we are reading. We will also have additional fun games and tidbits of information that provide even more insight into the Wizarding World.
