The purpose for this course will be to teach the student about India’s Tejas multi-role aircraft. This is a fighter aircraft was developed for both air to air and air ground attack and ISR gathering. This fighter aircraft has a lot of technologically adopted from other countries in the avionics of this platform. Additionally, the double delta wing design gives this aircraft great maneuverability as well. The focus will be on both scientific and historic facts about this fourth generation fighter aircraft. There will be an attached note taking document with pictures to help the student learn and retain the information in this course. There is also a video about the Tejas aircraft included for visual perspective on the airframe and how it operates. The desire of the teacher is to engage the students with questions and dialogue to help them further learn the material and answer questions. There will be no assigned home work in this class and the teaching style will be lecture via power point material with a few questions asked of the students.
