Beginners will develop fundamental skills, while learning their favorite songs. Keeping things simple yet challenging and fun.

Intermediate to advanced players will dive deeper into guitar and music. We will work towards long term and short term goals. Take necessary steps on the path to becoming the best musician you can be.

1st topic - Technique 
Technique is always addressed to help the students play as clean and proficient as possible. From strumming to picking, to finger style playing and left hand technique. We will work on the most economical technique for the style you are focusing on.

2nd topic - Songs/Repertoire
My job is to help you remain inspired to play and practice. We will be focusing on playing songs to build up repertoire and skills. We will also use songs to address technique and theory (notes, scales, chords, etc.)

3rd topic - Rhythm and time
Just how the notes we play are important, we also focus on rhythm, time and feel. One of the most important aspects about playing music. Without rhythm, music won't make you dance or move. We spend a large portion of the lesson focusing on rhythm so that your playing can inspire people to rock.

4th topic - Music knowledge/ Theory
Music theory is applied with the songs or music that the student is learning. Basic knowledge of theory helps students understand what they are doing on the guitar. And advance music theory helps the student master the instrument. We will work on understanding the guitar at a deeper level. Whether we cover basics or advanced theory, we will keep this subject fun and interesting by applying your new found knowledge to the music you love.

All students will be focused on the genres and musical styles of their choice.
