Evaluate the student’s current proficiency in music, musicianship, and guitar playing. Provide instruction on proper technique and demonstrate its application to enhance the student’s learning experience. My teaching approach involves introducing three or four chords and teaching an accessible song along with a simple strumming pattern.
We lock in basic musicianship in concept and practice. I begin to explain rhythms, scales, and their application to songs they have selected and love .We develop their technique, and dexterity, and establish the groundwork for them to learn more
