In this writing class, the student will learn to write basic sentences using their favorite game characters like Pokemon to help engage them. This class will be a starter writing class and the student will be guided while they write the sentences with the teacher about their characters. First we will chat about our favorite characters and then each student will have a chance to come up with a sentence they wish to write and the teacher will help guide them to write the sentence. This will provide the students multiple opportunities to practice writing a sentence. This class would fit the student that is learning to put words into sentences and form correct sentences using uppercase letters, spacing and correct punctuation. This class is also good for struggling beginning writers that need the extra practice to boost their confidence and teach them writing can be fun and interesting. Please understand this is a very basic and slower paced class. If your child is older or more skilled in writing, I have the next level writing class available to fit those needs as well.
