5年生向けガイド付き読書 - 古典

This year, we’ll dive into classic literature and captivating stories that will ignite your child’s passion for reading. As we explore these amazing texts, we’ll focus on building strong reading fluency and comprehension skills.

Our class will be interactive, students will take turns reading aloud, which allows the teacher to assist on unknown words and review necessary phonics skills in context.  We will strengthen comprehension skills with during reading discussions and questions.  

After reading, students will have the opportunity to demonstrate their understanding through various responses. Written response activities will focus on spelling skills as needed.  Additionally, learners will be asked to draw pictures to demonstrate and build comprehension skills.

I can’t wait to inspire a love of reading in your child while helping them grow as confident, skilled readers!
