Over 8 weeks, beginners will learn the fundamentals of guitar playing focusing on chords and strumming. We'll start with simple versions of chords and progress to playing basic open chords in their full version. What topics will you cover? Holding and tuning the guitar Simple chord formations (e.g., G, G7, C) Transitioning between chords Introduction to strumming patterns Playing basic open chords (e.g., C, Am, Em, G, D) Applying chords to play songs Each class will be structured to progressively build on previous lessons. We'll start with basic concepts and gradually introduce more complex techniques. The class will consist of practical demonstrations, exercises, and playing songs. I will teach through a combination of demonstration, explanation, and practice. I'll demonstrate proper techniques, explain concepts clearly, and provide exercises for students to practice both in class and at home. Learners will have ample opportunity to interact with me and each other. This will include: Demonstrations and explanations from me Practice sessions where I provide individual feedback Group discussions on techniques and challenges Q&A sessions for clarification

we'll continue our chord mastery by adding the Em and D7 chords to our repertoire.
