In this class, learners will learn twenty of the most common Greek roots of English language words. I will ask the learner to write down these roots and their meanings. Next, I will ask the learner to put each root word into a sentence to check their understanding. I will give examples to help the learner. The learner will demonstrate understanding through reading a passage and interpreting the new words with a Greek root that are in the passage. I teach as the subject specialist but learners are welcome to ask questions and learn as part of a conversation with me. No prior knowledge is needed, and all learners are welcome.
