Students will repeatedly practice all kinds of grammar rules and writing in the context of a coherent story. 

I have taught IEW in many ways for 16 years.  I am a Registered IEW instructor.

Ideally, students should spend 10-15 minutes copying their corrected passage into their own notebook, so that at the end of class they have a completed story.  Each Nose Tree sentence is about this long: Two of them fell asleep under a tree while the third built a fire and stayed alert.
There will be 4 sentences to correctly copy after each day of class. .

Parents will see the students’ corrections in the grammar book and help them rewrite into another notebook.  You are welcome to show me your child's work but it is not necessary.
