Welcome to English class (Language Arts). In this class we will be learning Phonics and Spelling. This is a 3 part class, 4 weeks each part. This is part 2 of 3. We will meet 2 days a week. Students will need paper and pencil for each class. Language Arts: Students will learn to read, write in cursive and spell the list words given in class. Students will practice spelling through writing, reading, and spelling aloud. This allows students to use several of their senses to help practice spelling and will better help them remember how to spell.
I am a veteran homeschool mom of 20+ years. I have taught my own kids from K-12, and have helped teach many students in various settings, including online and in person. I have a Bachelors Degree in Organizational Management, and a Masters Degree in Teaching and Learning in Technology. I have training for behavioral health with students with disabilities, and I am able to bring this into my classroom and provide customized teaching to all students no matter their skill level. I look forward to working with you in provided support to you and your learner.
