このクラスで学べること
Beginning with story time, I will read "The Magic School Bus: Arctic Adventure" by Gail Herman. Then with a video clip from Scholastic, we will examine the science of the Arctic. We will discuss where the Arctic is and why it is important to our world. The students will then create an experiment with blubber. Any necessary PDFs will be provided before class. Finally, I will provide an enrichment activity for after class to continue the study of the Arctic. This class is a great introduction into the Arctic region, or a good review, for anyone who needs it.

Hello from Texas! Although I am currently residing in Texas, we move quite often and that has allowed me to have many different types of career experiences. I have tutored privately and through well-known organizations; taught in the public school classroom setting with a self-contained classroom (including 4th grade and Texas History); substituted and interned in private school classroom settings; instructed at the community college level (History); assisted with museum operations; and homeschooled my three munchkins. I have worked with early education all the way up to the community college level. My Bachelors is in childhood education with a Master's in American History.
