このクラスで学べること
In this Frozen themed ballet class, students will be introduced to basic ballet dance steps and terminology in a fun and safe, positive learning environment. We will use our creativity, personality, enthusiasm, and acting skills to dance like a princess! With my energetic and motivating teaching style, students will feel confident and excited to dance every class! Mrs. Danielle will create a new combination every class to a different song from the Frozen movies while implementing steps we have learned. Every class will start with a stretch to make sure our bodies are nice and warm before we begin dancing. Next, Mrs. Danielle will model basic ballet steps. Students will then learn new choreography to a Frozen song. ❄️**Feel free to dress up or accessorize like your favorite Frozen character ❄️ **Please note: Characters will not actually appear on camera, our princess each week will be strictly themed for our music for that class. **The day before class starts I will attach a 20-25 minute video that includes the whole lesson for the class! **This class allows you to take class at your convenience! Learners will be given an assignment to complete and share with the rest of the class in the form of photos and videos! Assignments will be as simple as sending me a picture of one of our newly learned ballet positions or a video of a newly learned ballet step. These assignments will need to be uploaded before the beginning of the next class!

Week 1 - *Frozen 1*
We will begin class with a warm up and stretch. Mrs. Danielle will teach the 5 basic ballet positions and a few fundamental ballet stationary moves. We will learn a routine to "Let it Go". We will end class with the "Dance, Freeze, Melt" song! レッスン 2:

We will begin class with a warm up and stretch. We will review from last week and Mrs. Danielle will teach some moving ballet steps. We will learn a routine to "Into the Unknown". We will end class with a freeze dance! レッスン 3:

We will begin class with a warm up and a stretch. review from the past 2 weeks of class and Mrs. Danielle will teach some turning ballet steps. We will learn a routine to "For the First Time in Forever". We will end class with a freeze dance game! レッスン 4:

Due to the physical fitness of dance, please provide water for your child to keep them hydrated. I also ask to please have a clear, open work space available to avoid the risk of any injury during class.

Hey everyone!! My name is Mrs. Danielle :)
Teaching Certifications and Specialities:
I graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelors Degree in K-6 Elementary Education from the University of South Alabama. After graduation, I taught preschool and kindergarten for 5 years. I have a huge love for children and all kinds of learning!
I am also a trained dancer of over 25 years where I have studied multiple genres of dance. I have been teaching dance at a local studio for over 10 years to children ages 2-18 and LOVE all ages! I am highly qualified to teach ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hiphop, tumbling, as well as cheerleading. I am a trained All American Cheerleader and cheer choreographer.
I currently coach, choreograph, and mentor young students with aspirations of trying out/auditioning for dance/cheer programs at the high school and collegiate level. I have also choreographed for the talent portion of local and state pageants. I also currently coach tumbling, choreograph, and judge numerous tryouts for dance and cheerleading programs locally.
Teaching Style:
I believe ALL learning should be fun! I am very energetic, motivating, and absolutely love to teach! I believe all students can do absolutely anything if they set their mind to it. I will ensure all students are comfortable and are understanding all material with constant student check ins. I enjoy working students to their highest potential and letting them know anything is possible! I love building confidence in students no matter what they are learning and I always try to make all students feel special!
Hobbies:
Of course dancing :) I also love traveling, cooking, boating, and spending time with family and friends. I also love ALL things Disney!
