I will provide focused tuition for the exams that you will be sitting. As each exam board has a slightly different exam focus, please tell me when you enrol which exam board your exam is with and when you are sitting the exam. (The exams are changing slightly in Summer 2026). If you are sitting the Common Entrance Exam, please let me know which level you are aiming for. This class can be used as a general evaluation of you French skills for Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing (including translating French to English and English to French). We can then do a series of One Time classes (if you are sitting the exam soon) or change to an Ongoing class if you are sitting the exam next summer. This session will be tailored for you. If your Spoken French needs work, I can help you with your chosen conversation topic, role play, Picture Stimulus work or other topic. We could use the time to do a Practice Speaking exam. Or use the time to help you work the present, passé composé and future tense into the conversation. We can practise Listening and/or Reading tests and go over the skills needed. We can practise the Written and translation tests, making sure you recognise which tense the answer should be in and how to check your grammar. Please let me know what skills you know you need to work on before this class, so that I can make best use of our time.

I have experience of teaching students with a variety of unique learning needs. Please inform me of needs on enrolment, so that I can supply worksheets with extra scaffolding and allow extra processing time if needed.

A means of making notes and a good dictionary (paper or online) will be helpful, but should not be used if we are doing timed/exam conditions tests.
