I will be teaching learners what fractions are, how to convert between an improper fraction and a mixed number. We will learn how to add and subtract fractions with unlike denominators. We will also learn how to multiply and Divide Fractions. Class will be structured in a "I do, we do, you do" format. Ideally 25 minutes of instruction with 30 minutes of practice with feedback. Using Classkick students will work on problems with teacher feedback. Students will be called on to explain their answers/questions or work with me as I guide them through problems. My teaching style is to Demonstrate content and then facilitate discussion, empowering learners to become self sufficient. I will use student interests to help guide learning.
