🌱Is your child ready to explore, learn, and grow? Then I have the perfect classes for them to achieve their goals. I have worked to create classes that combine what kids love (video games) and subjects (like math) which they may not be super excited about into one awesome and engaging learning experience that they look forward to week after week!
 
In this ongoing class we will play a Fortnite memory math game focusing on a different set of multiplication facts each week. We will start with our 0's and 1's and proceed all the way through our 12 times tables, focusing on one set each week. Students will have a handout every week that we will complete together which will help them learn that week's multiplication facts. We will play a Fortnite themed memory math game, where each student will have multiple turns and have multiple chances to practice/learn/review their times tables. We will have time to share any Fortnite goodies the students would like or anything at all!

My class setting is a relaxed, fun, open space for all students to be able to discuss and express their thoughts about what we are learning. I encourage student interaction with not only myself but with their fellow classmates. Everyone is expected to be respectful, positive and listen to one another but also feel like they have the ability to share their own thoughts and opinions. I strive to create a caring environment where kids can ask questions and make progress without pressure and feel excited about learning all while developing meaningful connections with their peers!I believe learning should be fun and try to provide a space for that to happen.

As a neurodivergent teacher myself, I incorporate different learning styles (visual, hands-on etc.) to make sure everyone is included & is able to find learning styles that work best for them. I strive to find a balance that includes everyone!

**We do not play Fortnite in class, we play a Fortnite themed memory math game.


This class cycles back to the beginning every 12 weeks but you can jump in at any time!
