このクラスで学べること
Students will learn with step by step guided instruction as I demonstrate and walk the students through each step. Class will start with teacher and student introductions, color mixing discussion and review, blending techniques and then we will jump into action to paint! I will have periodic check ins with each student throughout the process. We will create tints and shades as we blend various blues and greens into the water. We will finish the painting off with painting the bottom of our feet to print them in the sand.

We will be using paint on our feet to print our footprints in the sand. Parent assistance may be needed!

16x20 canvas to accommodate footprints Various Acrylic Paints (brown, tan, blue, teal, red, yellow, white, black, green) Small, Medium, Large brushes water cups paper plates or painters palette Paper towels Table covering Apron or art shirt Possibly baby wipes for after footprint A hairdryer may be nice to speed up drying time Cost for items will vary depending on where or the quality of the supplies. **Please be aware that class is scheduled for 75 min so that all students have time to complete their painting. I encourage students to pace themselves and work on craftsmanship and add details. Some students finish in 60 minutes and insist they are “done” while others use the entire class time. If a student has a small canvas, they will finish more quickly. I do my best to accommodate all students and encourage them to keep working but some students insist on ending their session when they complete their painting.
