Calling all cat lovers! Learn how to draw and paint an adorable kitty using crayon and watercolour during this one-time class. We will fill our cats with colourful flowers inspired by Scandinavian Folk Art and then paint them.

This class will consist of three parts: pencil drawing, colouring with crayons, and painting with watercolour. Students will learn how to combine these elements to create amazing works of art! They will learn how to draw a cat from start to finish and will then decorate the cats with flowers, rainbows, or anything else they choose.

Supply List: pencil, eraser, crayons, watercolour paint, paintbrush, water jar, and watercolour paper (computer paper can be used if you don’t have watercolour paper).

🎨 I am an artist and educator with more than 10 years of teaching experience and I LOVE teaching art! 

👩‍🎓 I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts and have taught a wide range of art classes over the years, including teaching art to individuals on the autism spectrum. 

🦋 My specialities include drawing animals and nature, as well as painting with watercolour. 

🌈✨  I always strive to teach fun and engaging classes while creating an inclusive environment that puts learners at ease. I like to sprinkle educational facts into each art class and allow lots of room for creativity. I don’t believe art should be stressful and strongly believe that having good art experiences can lead to greater self confidence and improved mental health.
