Welcome to the Little Ninjas FLEX class! In this class, we will be utilizing martial arts movements to play and explore with our bodies. We'll get our heart rates up, our bodies active, and have a lot of fun doing so! With over 17 years teaching preschool and kindergarten aged students, 8 years homeschooling my own four children, and multiple fitness certifications, I have found I most enjoy making learning a fun process, especially when it comes to health and fitness! I have a black belt in MMA (comprised of a Tae Kwon Do/Muay Thai/Boxing/Jiu jitsu blend), and love sharing martial arts with others, especially young children! If your child has ever had interest in martial arts, karate, or ninjas, this class is for them!
Parental supervision is recommended as this is a physical movement class for younger children. Adequate space to move, free of tripping hazards and anything a child might be injured by, is very important. Lack of supervision may result in injury. Please have your child wear comfortable clothing for movement, and a water bottle nearby.
