This comprehensive curriculum aims to provide students with a holistic understanding of chess, blending practical knowledge with historical, cultural, and technological insights.

By the end of the class, your student will have a strong understanding of chess and be able to play confidently.

The flexible schedule (Recorded Flex Class) allows your learners to watch the pre-recorded videos and do them at a time that is FUN for them! The videos will contain the information required to give students a good understanding of each topic, and each one will include homework for the students to undertake during the week. After watching each video and completing the homework assignments, students will be provided with feedback and the specific next steps on how to improve or adapt.

Homework will take approximately 30 minutes to an hour each week, and will consist of practice games and puzzles.

Learners will be assessed through informal assessments and feedback on their homework and tournament play.
Time frame for the Week:

Mondays - The teacher will post the information needed for the week. Students can submit questions.
Tuesdays - Wednesday - The teacher can answer any questions pertaining to the topic of the week. The students will need to complete any homework assignments and answer any questions in the discussion.

Saturday - Sunday - The teacher will be available to answer any questions that the students may have for the week or the next week.

We will be going through each week as a group and I will post the lesson weekly (depending on which day you started).
