Love is in the air! In this one-time Spanish class, students will learn fun words and phrases related to Valentine's Day. No prior exposure to Spanish is required. Each learner will have several opportunities to hear and say the specific vocabulary and phrases. We will discuss all the objects associated with Valentine's Day, and we will talk about the different activities that take place on Valentine's Day such as a making and giving out Valentine's cards, wearing red or pink, and showing our friends and family how much we care about them. Visual props will be used as well as a PowerPoint presentation. We will play fun games and complete a handout together.

Handouts will need to be printed by a parent prior to the start of class. The handouts will be available at least one day before the class meeting. Each student will need their own set of crayons, markers, or colored pencils as well as scissors and glue.

¡Hola amigos! My name is Señora Faith and I LOVE teaching Spanish to children!
Here are some fun facts about me:
⭐️ I live in Florida where I can use the Spanish language on a daily basis!
⭐️ I have over 20 years of experience teaching children of all ages.
⭐️ I speak three languages fluently -- Portuguese, Spanish, and English. I also studied both French and German for several years and am currently learning Chinese!
⭐️ I graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor's Degree in Foreign Language Education. I also lived in Spain and was able to study at the University of Madrid!
⭐️ I have worked in schools teaching classes and small groups, and also have experience teaching homeschoolers as well.
⭐️ When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, reading, and cheering on our favorite sports teams!
