In this one-time, one-hour class, we’ll explore the legendary Phoenix—a mythical bird of fire, renewal, and immortality. Where did the myth originate? How did different peoples describe the phoenix? We’ll also compare it to other mythological birds and uncover real birds that may have inspired these legends. Through lecture and slides, we’ll journey through folklore and fiery tales. If your learners love mythology, legends, or birds, this class is for you!
