Each week students will either receive a coloring sheet *or* activity to work on at home, -or-a short game or activity will occur at the end of class, such as trivia, bingo, can you spot the hidden items, scavenger hunt, show and tell, name all the things, and would you rather science edition, guessing games, or a story game. After each week's lesson, students will be sent a sheet summarizing what we learned that day. Some weeks a coloring sheet may be provided. Hi there!
My name is Marie and I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. In my earlier college days I was enrolled in the Early Childhood Education program, and I have direct experience working with children ages 2-22. Some of the subjects that I am passionate about learning and teaching are: astronomy, drawing, animals and earth science! My philosophy behind my teaching is that each student learns differently, and I would like to provide an open-minded environment to help each child maximize their abilities. I enjoy allowing my students to have as much verbal participation as possible!
Some fun facts about me: I have an 11 year old daughter. I have had many types of pets including birds, cats, mice, hamsters, fish, hermit crabs and a tarantula! My 2 most favorite things are astronomy and Halloween. I also work as a special education paraprofessional.! I am excited to meet you and hope to see you in some of my classes!
