I joke that if there is an essay attached that I will get the job or win the prize. I was invited to take part in teacher symposiums in D.C., Nashville, and Philadelphia all based on writing essays about myself. Just like a job interview, this is a skill you can always improve upon, refine, and take to the next level. These sessions will be dedicated to working through scholarships and college entrance writing. Students will gain confidence in writing about the unique parts of their life and improve their ability to do so in a concise and charismatic way.

With over a decade in the classroom teaching both English and history, I am dedicated to seeing students succeed. In 2021, I applied for something called “The Big Idea Challenge”. My essay won “Judge’s Choice”. Following this, I was named the state of Montana’s Judy Martz Women in Leadership recipient and traveled to San Antonio. I was invited to study with a cohort in Washington, D.C., and had my Masters degree paid for all from writing various essays. I head to Nashville in May to study at Andrew Jackson’s house and Philadelphia in July as 1 of just 28 student and teacher teams in the US to study early American History. All of these experiences stem from confidence in displaying myself in writing, and I want your kids to gain that confidence too.
