In this one-time class we will review important ELA (English Language Arts) topics, including fact or opinion, synonym or antonym, simile or metaphor, 1st or 3rd person narrator, and text features (graph/tally/chart/table, title, caption, and diagram). We will spend 1-2 minutes reviewing each topics before answering questions in the Kahoot! that refer to said topic. Once the students appear to have a grasp of each topic we will answer 4-5 questions on that topic. There are 24 questions total and 6 review slides.

This game is easiest played with 2 devices: one for zoom and one for Kahoot! You do not need a login for Kahoot!, you just need to enter the pin that I will give you at the beginning of class. There is a Kahoot! app for phones and tablets or you can open www.Kahoot.it on your web browser. If you are using a laptop you can use a split screen instead of a second device, but this can be difficult for some learners so a second device is preferred. **Parents, please refrain from helping your child select the correct answers to make this fair to all students.
