We will learn specific reading and writing skills that will help Dyslexic students overcome their learning gaps and become successful readers and writers. Phonics: letters/recognition vowels decodable words phonics rules Reading: reading strategies phonics/letter rules (digraphs and trigraphs) short stories and books comprehension Writing: spelling handwriting letter formation This is an ongoing class. All skills will be taught and retaught (reviewed and extended) so please feel free to jump in any time. Skills will be assessed on a regular basis to provide relevant and needed instruction for the current learners. Notes for class: There will be one brain break per class. Students will takes notes Class will address ALL learning styles Class materials will vary based on the needs of the students.

There are no skills needed for this ongoing class. We will meet the students were they are at. If a students is struggling with a skill, I have a tutoring class for 1:1 support.
