このクラスで学べること
In this ongoing class students will have a new insect to draw each week. I will upload high quality images of the insect before class for students to work from and I will show the insect and photos in class. I will share any interesting facts or features that I have learned about each insect. During class I will share the image on my screen as well as have a live video feed showing my drawing while students draw with me. I will be using graphite in each lesson and encourage students to do the same. In this class we will discuss value, shading, shapes, and more! No prior experience is necessary. drawing paper graphite pencils eraser blending stump sharpener I will be using these materials but if students prefer charcoal, colored pencils, or another medium they are welcome to use that.

I will be teaching a range of art classes for young artists that want to have fun and teen artists that are more serious about their artistic skills. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting and a minor in art history, as well as 2.5 years of classical realism atelier training. I am a full time professional artist and I love to teach! I have been teaching children and adults for the past 5+ years. I believe that having as much artistic training as you can early on will benefit your professional career as an artist.
