How to Draw Martin Luther King, Jr. for Kids! In this drawing class, students and I will discuss Martin Luther King, Jr. and the American Civil Rights Movement as we draw a picture of him step-by-step. All ages can benefit from this class, as the youngest learners can work on easy shapes that come together to form his image, while the older students can work on more challenging exercises (shading). Kids will also be sent a coloring page after class for the creativity to continue!

I volunteer at a few area libraries teaching fun drawing classes to kids of all ages. I also am the Art Director for our local co-op and my kids through homeschooling.

I have a solid foundation in drawing techniques, which I will use to effectively teach a variety of styles and mediums. Whether it's pencil, markers, charcoal, or ink, I have the expertise to guide students through different methods and help them develop their own skills.

Teaching requires patience, and I have always had a natural ability to remain calm and supportive. I am aware that each child learns at their own pace, and my goal is to foster a positive and encouraging learning environment.
