In this course, we will learn to use a specific process for drawing the human face. We will begin by using basic shapes and measuring estimates. We will then map out the shapes to help us know where to put the facial features. I will show students how to draw facial features in a realistic way. It will also be noted that not all faces have the exact same proportions. We are all different and that is something to celebrate! Students will be free to ask questions and share their work for feedback at any time.

Hello, everyone! My name is Jen. My passion is art! I am a certified visual art teacher (for all grades) and a certified multiple subjects teacher (elementary level) and have been teaching art for 15 years. I primarily teach painting and drawing. My favorite thing is to see a student have fun, gain confidence and learn something in my classes! In my classes, I break steps down to make art easy and enjoyable.
