Students will be able to read about and discuss mythological creatures through oral and written works and artistic representation across various cultures and stories. 

I am offering this class as a stand-alone to a magical creatures on parade class that I recently offered here on Outschool, as I found that there was so much interesting information about dragons that couldn't fit into a weekly class. This in-depth look will give students the opportunity to explore the creatures that are very popular in mainstream culture. I have been teaching since 2008 and have an English certificate which allows me to teach literary analysis  in a fun and engaging way.

Each week students will receive an extension activity in relation to the dragon discussed in class.

We will use “Dragonology” by Dugald Seer as a reference guide. We will pull from various myths and stories across different cultures!
