In this ongoing course, students will practice writing two times a week. The classes do not build upon each other so students can join the class anytime. During each class, students will brainstorm with a graphic organizer and will write a paragraph. The students will be adding details to their writing throughout each class. I have worked in an elementary school for the past thirteen years. I have recognized that many students do not add descriptive words and details to their writing. It takes practice for students to learn how to add descriptive details in their writing. This class will give students practice in writing a paragraph and adding details to their own writing.
