In this class, we will cover animal and plant adaptations, the meaning of biomimicry, and the design process involved in it. In the class, we will participate in a short rapport building activity, learn about biomimicry through explicit instruction, and students will have an opportunity to practice by coming up with their own biomimicry invention. Students will draw their invention. Through this hands-on learning experience, students will walk away feeling empowered to be scientists!
