Join at any time 😊 I offer other classes that are appropriate for beginners if that is what your learner needs. If you have questions or concerns do not hesitate to reach out ! My style is usually on the cute side and simple yet detailed! Students will be encouraged to develop their own style but can always follow exactly what I do. Sometimes it’s hard to know what to draw so this club is sure to give you that inspiration you are looking for ! This club is to create beautiful and story telling illustrations, every artwork will have some sort of story, mood, vibe, atmosphere. We will inspire each other and many weeks will involve creating digital artwork that tell a story! We will create something new each week, and students are encouraged to add unique touches to their artwork. This class focuses on progress; some lessons might not have a “finished artwork.” Students will utilize the tools learned in class to continue developing their pieces. We will also examine art concepts such as composition, color theory, light, shadow, and value. This is an ongoing class that continues throughout the year, students can come and go since it is in a subscription basis. Each class will be catered to the students, and we will discuss their individual learning outcome. NOTE: there may be some weeks *off* throughout the year. Throughout the year, students can request specific topics on what they want to draw. At the beginning of each class, we will share what we worked on during the week since the last meeting! The subject matter can be changed according to students' requests. I want to know what they enjoy drawing and their likes and dislikes. This will create a self-directed environment. We focus on the 12 principles of animation in most of our lessons whether it is an animation or just an illustration! Those animation principles are: Squash and stretch Anticipation Staging Straight-ahead action and pose to pose Follow-through and overlapping action Slow in and slow out Arcs Secondary action Timing Exaggeration Solid drawing Appeal
