In this one time class, we will have a fun, friendly competition among fans of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid book series by Jeff Kinney. Let’s see what you know about Greg, Rodrick, Manny, their parents, neighbors and friends (and of course, Rowley too!) We will play a trivia game on Kahoot, so please make sure you have Kahoot set up and know how to use it before class begins. You can either use the Kahoot app on a separate device, which is ideal, or you can open a second browser on your computer and go to www.kahoot.it. I will give everyone the game pin when class starts.

Hello! My name is April Moser, and I am a former 6th grade classroom teacher, specializing in math. I live in Virginia, USA, near Washington, D.C.
In 2006 I earned a Masters Degree in Education, and went on to teach upper elementary school, focusing on math at all levels. Since having my own children, I have moved to online teaching, and have taught over 500 students online in the last few years!
I have always enjoyed math, and I have created a lot of classes that make learning math more exciting for the students. Each of our brains work differently, and that is the foundation on which I build my lessons. In class, if there are three ways to solve a problem, we will try them all! That way, your learner has a much better chance of understanding and grasping the concept.
We play Kahoot and Gimkit games to get the kids excited about reviewing concepts, and I am always available to answer questions when needed.
