What will be taught?
This class introduces learners to the award-winning Delta Green tabletop role-playing game, teaching collaborative storytelling, problem-solving, and critical thinking. Learners will explore themes of cosmic horror, conspiracy, and the consequences of their characters’ actions.

What topics will you cover?

Character Creation: Building rich, multi-dimensional characters with compelling backstories.
Conspiracies and Cosmic Horror: Exploring themes like Area 51, the Illuminati, and the Philadelphia Experiment through a horror lens.
Teamwork and Strategy: Collaborating with peers to navigate challenging scenarios and uncover secrets.
Storytelling and Role-Playing: Immersing in a detailed, narrative-driven experience that encourages creativity and emotional engagement.
How is your class structured?
The class is divided into sessions:

Session 1: In-depth character creation, focusing on personality, history, and motivations.
Session 2: The first operation begins—characters encounter their first cosmic horror.
Session 3: Downtime—characters reflect on their missions, interact with others, and prepare for what’s next.
Session 4 and beyond: Flexible missions assigned by the organization, allowing learners to join or return at any point with ease.
How will you teach?
As the Game Master, I narrate the story, guide learners through scenarios, and embody NPCs to create an immersive experience. Each session combines storytelling, collaborative decision-making, and action-driven gameplay. Visual aids and thematic music enhance immersion, and discussions allow for reflection and feedback.

I foster a supportive, inclusive environment where creativity thrives. My approach blends structure with flexibility, allowing players to influence the story. I guide learners through rules and scenarios while encouraging them to shape the narrative with their decisions.

How much will learners get to interact with you?
Learners will interact with me throughout the session as I narrate the story, moderate discussions, and facilitate gameplay. They’ll collaborate directly with me during character creation, mission planning, and role-playing, ensuring a highly interactive and personalized experience.
