This class is not intended to scare students in any way, however we will discuss the anonymity of online chat rooms and the possibility that the people they are chatting with could be posing as children their age but are potentially dangerous adults. We will also discuss hackers and attackers and how they could fall victim to their tricks.
We may watch some YouTube videos of online scammers and hacker tactics. All videos will be previewed before class by the teacher to ensure there is no offensive images or lanuage.

I taught computer science and business courses for over six years to middle-schoolers. I currently teach cybersecurity, computer science, and network security courses to high schoolers.
