In this course, students will the "simplified" cursive writing style I teach in my "Cursive Made Simple - The Alphabet" course. I have taught this style of cursive throughout my career as an educator in both the general and special education setting. The focus will take the letters learned and putting them together to create words and phrases. Students will be able to write words and phrases in cursive, using both upper case and lower case letters, starting with the words that students were learning to read in "Cursive Made Simple - The Alphabet," which are: Ace Car Or Even Max New Rose Sum Us Van Wave Xerox Bold Doll Ice Kite Lab Thick Formalize Grotesque Jog Project Quiet Youthful Zappy Students will demonstrate their ability to read words in cursive. Students will be to write their first name in cursive. Students will further develop their own cursive writing style.
Students should have lined paper and something to write with during class time.
