このクラスで学べること

This course examines critical thinking and problem solving in our everyday life.

Week 1: Problem Solving - Problem solving is a word that almost everyone has come across at some point in their lives. In life, every human being is confronted with a variety of issues that he must attempt to resolve.

Week 2: Problem Solving Strategies
- Problem solving strategies are the processes used to discover the issues that arise when attempting to accomplish a goal. Because issues continue to arise, this is referred to as a problem-solving loop. You have the next problem in front of you as soon as you complete solving one.

Week 3: Problem Solving Cycle
- Problem solving is usually looked at from two perspectives. First is that there is only one solution to the problem at hand. Second perspective is problems that have solutions that constantly change. These are socioemotional problems, such as what to get for your birthday or your favorite color.

Week 4: What is Critical Thinking? Exploring various aspects
- The dictionary defines critical thinking as "Objective analysis and evaluation of an issue in order to form a judgement". Critical thinking refers to a person observing a situation, identifying the problem, analyzing it through the lens of experience and arriving at a conclusive decision to solve it rationally.

Week 5: Applying Critical Thinking in everyday problems
- It is important to understand that this is just a generic structure and can differ from person to person. This explanation is only to help you start with the process and allow you to implement it on a daily basis.

Week 6: Improving Decision Making skills
- it's crucial that you practice critical thinking on a regular basis if you want to make it a habit. In this chapter, we'll look at how you may make the most of your ordinary problem-solving and try to incorporate critical thinking into your daily routine.
