In each week's class, students will choose a "What If..." style writing prompt to use to write their own creative short story, which they can share with the group at the end of class. This class will meet on an ongoing basis, each class with the same structure, but a different "What if..." prompt each week. If your schedule does not allow for an ongoing/weekly class meeting, I also offer "Creative Writing: What If... Story Prompts (One-Time / Trial Class)" where your learner can participate...
Students will improve their creative writing skills, oral reading and speaking, and expand their imaginations as they create their very own short stories.
I hold a degree in Elementary Education and have been teaching writing classes on Outschool since July 2020.
Students should come to class with: - Something to write on (notebook, paper, Word or Google Docs document) - Something to write with (if writing on physical paper) - A creative mind
