Scary Story

In this fast-paced class, we'll begin by delving deep into the heart of any spooky tale: the setting. From eerie abandoned mansions to fog-shrouded forests and haunted graveyards, we'll explore how to create the perfect atmosphere to send shivers down your readers' spines.

Next, we'll breathe life into our stories by building characters that leap off the page. Whether it's a brave protagonist facing their darkest fears or a sinister villain lurking in the shadows, we'll learn how to craft characters that will keep your readers on the edge of their seats.

And finally, we'll use our imaginations as we craft the spine-chilling plot that will keep readers up late into the night.
This class is all about diving headfirst into the world of scary storytelling, so come prepared with your most bone-chilling ideas and plenty of writing materials.

The class time breakdown will be as follows: (all of the following will be done with my guidance and idea help)
5 minutes - introductions
5 minutes - create the students story setting
5 minutes - build their characters
10 minutes - plot outline (using the plot mountain method)
25 minutes - write - focusing on beginning, middle and end
10 minutes - edit and share
