(Part 1 of this series must be taken before you can enroll in Part 7, unless you have previously discussed this with the teacher. If you need Part 7 on my Saturday schedule, just let me know.)
Part 7 for this series is another one day class. Class will begin with the teacher showing the students a picture prompt. Then the teacher and students will spend time together brainstorming ideas. Just as in Part 6, students will be encouraged to create their own first sentence.  However, if the student is stumped, the teacher will provide suggestions. The students will be encouraged to include dialogue in the story as discussed in Part 5. Students will have the opportunity to share their stories with the class as they are writing and they will be encouraged to read their stories to their family after class.  Students may not take this course unless they have taken some of my previous writing courses.
