In this class, we will be exploring camouflage in nature. Together will learn about the different types of natural camouflage: concealing coloration, disruptive coloration, disguise, and mimicry. We will look at various camouflage examples in the wild such as owls, zebras, caterpillars, praying mantis, snakes, butterflies, chameleons, and more. Your student will print out a template supplied before class or draw their creature to color and camouflage. We will pick a place in our homes, or maybe yards, to create the perfect camouflage pattern to conceal our creations.
