In this class Learners will gain a greater understanding of the Principles of Design, as well as how to use Canva as a graphic design tool. Students will engage in games with Miss Liz to build their understanding, create together, and share their work for feedback from Miss Liz and the other Learners. Miss Liz teachers uses the I do, We Do, You Do Model. In this model the students receive instruction and examples, work together with Miss Liz to learn and experiment, and then have some freedom to create and share themselves while Miss Liz monitors and helps facilitate. This class includes short lectures, demonstrations, games, slides, creation along with teacher, and discussion. Learners are also able to use their own likes and hobbies and themes when creating. 

Weekly schedule will be learner driven based on learners in attendance as well as learners’ past knowledge and what they are interested in learning to create.

Week 3 : Effects in Canva

Week 4 : Using layers

Week 5 : Creating textures and patterns

Week 6: Creating GIF’s and animations 

Week 7: Wrap up



Learners may join in on any week of class.
