作成して共有 - ブロックを組み立てる TIMED ビルディング チャレンジ (5 ～ 7 歳)

Can you build a tree that stands on its own? What about an upside-down house? These are just a couple examples of challenges you might see in this class. 

Each class will begin with a short time of Show & Tell where learners can show something they’ve built. It is not required, but each learner will be given the opportunity to share one item if they choose.

For each TIMED challenge, learners will be given choices of items to build. They will use creative and abstract thinking, trial and error, and problem solving to build objects of their choice. Along the way, we will discuss what they are building, what issues (if any) they have run into, and how they’ve worked through the issues. Learners will have to make decisions about the size of their build and the number of details to add in order to finish within the time limit. Once the timer goes off, they will share their work with the rest of the class. More TIMED challenges will be given as time permits. These challenges are sure to be fun for all!  

*These challenges change weekly, so feel free to sign up for this class more than once.

*There is no specific amount or type of building bricks, blocks, or other building toys required. Come with what you have and let’s have some fun building together!

*Each learner must be registered to attend the class; however, siblings/friends can share a screen to participate in the class.

*Please make sure your learner knows how to find and use the Mute/Unmute button. There are times when a learner’s background is noisy. Their mic will be muted by the teacher so the class and the learning and thinking processes are not disrupted. Your learner will then have to unmute their mic in order to talk. Zoom will not allow teachers to unmute mics anymore.
