In this class, we will be creating a Christmas ornament using sewing and embroidery skills. I will be demonstrating each step and help students with any troubleshooting as needed. Skills that this class will teach or enhance: * Designing a piece of embroidery * Embroidery stitches: running, back, lazy daisy, straight, satin * Sewing: blanket stitch * Tracing and Cutting Fabric, Working with Polyester Stuffing Students do not need to be experienced in sewing or embroidery to take this class. They should have the skills of being able to thread a needle and create a knot at the end of the thread.
