熱帯雨林を作ろう: 若い学習者のための STEAM クラス

In this 6 week course, learners are introduced to one of the oldest type of ecosystem: Rainforests. Learners learn why rainforests are important to our planet. They will learn about the four (4) layers that make up a rainforest: emergent layer, canopy, understory, and forest floor. They will also learn about some of the animals and plants that call the rainforest home.

Each week, learners will add parts to their rainforest diorama after an interactive class discussion. The class discussion will allow learners to expand and share their knowledge regarding the subject matter. On the last class, learners will be encouraged to present their dioramas to celebrate everyone's achievement and hard work.

This class allows learners to harness their skills in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM), and Mindfulness, making it a well rounded class for your learner(s). 

Please know that there is no hard and fast rule with materials that are required for this class. Learners will provide their own materials for class, and are encouraged to be resourceful and use items that are already available at home.
