Students will be able to:
-take key word outline notes by choosing important and interesting details from a source text.
-use the outlines to write organized paragraphs.
-write introduction and conclusion paragraphs.
-use dress-ups to clarify writing and engage readers.
-edit and revise their papers.

I am a trained writing teacher with the Institute for Excellence in Writing. I taught writing to 4th-8th graders in public and private school.

Week 2: Write the Blobfish and Narwhal paragraphs, complete the introduction and conclusion paragraphs handout (estimated time 1-2 hours)
Week 3: Write the introduction and conclusion paragraphs; edit and revise (estimated time 1-2 hours)
