We will use the book "Katie Kangaroo Learns to Count Money" to help us explore various combinations of pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters. I have used this method for teaching children how to count money in my second grade classroom for many years because it takes the confusion out of counting coins, especially counting quarters with dimes.
