This is the class for your child if they:

  ✅ Can answer questions before other students

  ✅ Get (almost) all of the math questions they tackle correct

  ✅ Want interesting math that will stretch and challenge them


This class includes five key elements:

🤔 Hints and Tips - hints plus essential information for each question (if needed!).

☑️ Answers - for checking your answers.

📝 Worked Examples - to understand the logic behind each question in more depth.

👀 Videos - that talk through each question step by step.

This class is designed to stretch the very highest attainers and your child might be unable to answer all the questions. This is incredibly valuable experience because it allows the opportunity and space for learning new types of math and tackling complex problem solving word question.

Many students who take this class are used to being able to answer most, if not all, of the math questions given to them by a teacher.
In fact, this challenge paper is at the right level if your child can confidently tackle between 40-60% of the questions.

This is one in a series of similar classes at a variety of attainment levels.

I think learning math is exciting and I often get a good feeling inside when I solve a particularly tricksy problem or puzzle.
This class is full of questions like these.

Age is often a poor indicator of the attainment level a student is at.
I teach several different challenge classes so that you can find a competition paper series that best stretches your child.

🎥 Your child attempts each question independently and they can dip into my hints and videos anytime they need. This means they get instant support and feedback.🎥

Each of my competition classes starts with your child tackling a competition paper with hints to 'demystify' the questions they find particularly challenging.

Once they have completed as many questions as they can on the challenge paper then they mark their answers against the official answers. 
For questions they didn't understand, got wrong or they want to understand at a deeper level then there are my worked examples and videos explanations to support them step by step.

I am available to answer any questions your child asks with a worked example or personal video using a document camera to provide a hint and/or explain the concept/process required of the question.

I have had the pleasure to run this class for over 4 years and many students, looking for individualised stretch, have paired this class with weekly 1-2-1 tuition tailored to the learning style, pace and needs of them. 🎓
