このクラスで学べること
In this one-time course students will make different crafts using coffee filters. Students do not need any prior knowledge or experience in order to take this course. My goal is to make at least two crafts during the class. If time permits, we will make additional crafts. We may talk about an animal, discuss our favorite foods, or discuss our favorite sports in order to share some background information about the creations. I will base the crafts around the seasons or holidays. We will review different shapes and discuss them as we create the coffee filter crafts. Students will get the opportunity to show off and discuss a craft creation at the end of class. I will encourage students to discuss what shapes were used in the coffee filter creation.

Hello! I am Christine Booker. I have a Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree in Elementary Education. I am certified to teach all subject areas K-6 for regular education and special education.
I have been teaching for over 20 years. I taught sixth grade for eleven years, third grade for two years, and first grade for the past nine years. I have also taught online ESL (English as a Second Language) classes for the past three years.
